SNACKS
EAT HEALTHY
Students are permitted a healthy snack. The snacks must come to school properly packaged. Rules will be set so students know when they can eat their snack as long as it does not become a distraction to other students. Snacks will not be shared.
Suggestions when preparing a school snack for your child:
• Pretzels
• Crackers
• Cereal (dry)
• Granola bars
• Carrots
Snacks must be dry - nothing sticky or w/dips or sauces. We have carpet in the rooms and snacks must be easy to clean up. We also do not want to attract any special friends with sticky snacks.
We have a water fountain in the room and will be available to keep the students hydrated and healthy. Water bottles are permitted in the classroom. Please write their name on it.

The Brookville Area School Board and the administrative team have made changes to the kind of water bottles that are permitted in school K-12. This policy is in the online Student/Parent Handbook on page 21-22 . Only clear water bottles are allowed and only water is permitted inside the bottle.

SUPPLY "WISH LIST"
When you are out and about shopping and find a good sale look for the following items to help keep our classroom stocked with supplies. They can be sent in at anytime during the year. Students use these items frequently and need to have a steady supply available.

(This list is only intended to be a helpful idea list. The students use so many different school items during the year and this helps to keep the supplies stocked. The items can be sent in at any time during the school year and will be used for the students as needed. This is strictly optional.)
