Look At What Your Kids Are Doing In ELA

By Maria Heinrich

Parent signatures

Kids will  bring home a variety ELA materials throughout the year.  In the take-home folders, you will find homework, assessments, activity packets, projects and newsletters.  I challenge the students to bring their materials home to share with their families.  I believe it is so important for parents to know what their child is doing in school.

For every piece of information your child brings home, students are encouraged to get your signature after reviewing the pages.  A tally will be kept of the different signatures and at the end of the nine-weeks, the students with the most signatures will receive a prize.

It is good for kids to share the good news from school.  Thanks for your cooperation with this activity.

It will take all of us together to continue with your child's success.
